Just about every day brings a new surprise on "Old Palm Avenue".  This week they started putting up what is called an outdoor surfing museum with sculptures that represent the local evolution of surfboards.  One side of the round metal tag has the date and the other side has the name of the shape, usually the shaper and the person who owns the board.  The older boards start at 3rd and get younger (and smaller) as you progress to the beach.  they haven't put them all up yet, they are about 2/3 of the way done with the installations. They have also now completed the pump station near the statue and opened up ramp to both sides of the beach.
